Here. There. Everywhere. is a NASA project that includes a set of six large beautiful posters and fun hands-on activities that demonstrate how basic concepts of physics apply on Earth, in the sky, and throughout the Universe. For more information about the project, see http://hte.si.edu/
A grant from the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics is supporting this project and workshop. The activities are most appropriate for families, or youth in grades 4-8 (but could be adapted for mixed groups that include younger or older kids). They are ideal activities to be taught by older teens and we encourage high-school students to participate in the workshop to learn to lead the activities.
